My Experience
|
At first when my class was told that we were going to do a webpage, everybody was very exited including me. The first thing that Ms. Laura and Ms. Eva taught us were the different tags <head>, with these we did our first page using dot html. Them we were asked to investigate about the topic for our dot html page, there I found all the differences between HTML and HTML5, and using commands like <img> and <b> I did my first kind of webpage. Although truthfully it looked nothing like the ones I had seen before.

Later we were introduced to Weebly.com which is a site to create other website which is totally free. At first I had a hard time but later I got familiarized with all the buttons and options and I started creating my HTML to HTML5 website. For me the worst part was to choose what color to use on each title but the rest was pretty easy. Even making my own visual content for example the timeline and the tag example but mostly the pictures aren't mine but I'll leave a link down below to check out their sites. Now that I have done a website I feel pretty proud of myself because I saw this achivement as a distant goal that only developers and specialists could do, but now it seems to me that now anyone can do it, if they put their minds to it. I'll like to thank Ms. Laura and Ms. Eva as well as my school Latin American School for having this class and teching it so well, my school is located in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
